Kim Kardashian Headlines Are Out Of Control

Kim Kardashian Headlines Are Out Of Control

Yes, the Kim Kardashian headlines are out of control, and yet, here is another one. Is this a shameful bid to garnish page views or an actual anti-Kim K rant? Maybe a bit of both, as this writer has also been guilty of using the famous name in a disgraceful attempt to make money.

But even with the minute amount of times the Kardashian name has found its way into one of my titles, the overabundance of Kim K headlines continue to nauseate my eyeballs. (Yes, I am aware this cannot literally happen) What set this rant in motion were the headlines under Kim Kardashian’s name today; apparently she is trending in Google right now, yay!

A writer acquaintance once equated online content providers as media whores who pimp out their work for money (not verbatim). For years I fought against that paradigm, writing only what I know and refusing to fall victim to tabloid gossip, until the money flowed from penning junk. But the headlines today hurt my eyelashes and caused fine lines in my brow.

“Kim Kardashian Attends Kanye West’s Grandfather’s Funeral In Black Mini”

“Kim Kardashian Is Just ‘Chilling’”

“Kim Kardashian Takes Baby North With Kanye West To His Grandfather’s Funeral”

And there were more, many more ridiculous Kim Kardashian headlines. Does anyone really care if she is just chilling or what she wore to Kanye’s grandfather’s funeral?

As I mentioned earlier, I did use her name in a headline recently, but it was to compare the Vampire Facial to the Blood Facial and as a writer of women’s style, I discussed a rumored children’s clothing line she might design. Hey, maybe some of you feel the same way about the topics I write about. I would then advise to avoid what you do not like. Hmm, maybe I should take my own advice.

Obviously, I am not a Kim Kardashian or Kanye West fan, but many people are and well, to each his own. Regardless of how the Kardashian Klan has earned their fame, the fact of the matter is, now people are obsessed. Despite my personal feelings, a new baby was born and a family member has passed away. These people deserve a certain amount of privacy, even if they are in the public eye.
