Ariana Grande Teen Icon Wows at VMAs Preshow

Ariana Grande sang her heart out amongst shaking hands for the VMAs preshow on the red carpet of the Barclays Center. The Nickelodeon star performed in the streets of Brooklyn with a stellar voice as tears welled in this beauty writer’s eyes. Why? Because my son is a huge fan of Ariana Grande and having watched her grow up on “Victorious”, I felt like a proud mama as she sang.

Although Ariana Grande said she was nervous, her angst did not show as her powerful vocals filled the summer air in Brooklyn for the VMAs preshow. Dressed in a light purple sequined mini-dress with pink pumps, the singer looked beautiful with her hair pulled away from her face in the typical-teen half-up, half-down hairstyle. A little ponytail with twisted bangs set amongst big waves accentuated Ariana Grande’s big eyes.

Clients strive for her signature red hair, with many teens asking this pro for the same color. However for the VMAs, Ariana’s hair looked a tad browner. Either she is letting her vibrant red grow out, or she just is in need of a touch-up. It really doesn’t matter, Ariana Grande is stunning regardless of the color hair she wears and her voice is equally stellar. She is THE one to watch. And Ariana, if you happen to read this, my son is an up-and-coming singer/dancer/performer and a huge fan of yours.
