Bad Beauty Product Not To Buy This Holiday Weekend, Beauty Review

A bad beauty product you should not waste your money is the focus of today’s beauty review. Although this purse-size dry shampoo has TSA approval, find something better for this holiday weekend.

TGIF gorgeous. Since today is Friday, it is time for another beauty review from Ask the Pro Stylist. This holiday weekend’s emphasis is on a travel-size dry shampoo that I do not recommend.

As a busy working mom, I depend on dry shampoo. Therefore, when my favorite PROFESSIONAL brands ran out, I stupidly made a bad choice. Instead of grabbing one at CosmoProf, I chose a bad beauty product from CVS.

In my haste to purchase movie magic candy, I spotted a box of travel-size dry shampoo. Having worked in retail, I knew the bad beauty product’s placement near the checkout is strategic. And the chain succeeded. While I only use, and recommend pro brands, this seemed cute and convenient, even though as a professional, I could find a better brand for less money. I broke my rule of using only professional brands.

The Bad, Baby Dry Shampoo Pen is just bad. According to the brand, it “instantly refreshes your hair leaving it super smooth and plump.” In addition, Bad, Baby claims it “smells ridiculously delicious.” No, it smells like deodorant. “Over 200 sprays” are promised. The pen lasted a week. I didn’t reach 20 sprays and I didn’t use it every day.

Nope, I don’t like it and therefore don’t recommend. While I hate to give a bad review, I will say it is convenient for travel. However, only if the product lasts. For me, it did not.

Visit next Friday for another beauty review like this week’s bad beauty product. Until then, happy styling.
