Happy New Year beauties! Beautiful eyelashes are easy with this Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week. Be sure to click the video link toward the end for quick tips on how to easily apply strip eyelashes.
TGIF beauty lovers and hair aficionados! Welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s weekly beauty product review. I sincerely hope you kicked off 2014 in style, and had a happy and healthy beginning to the New Year. This Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week creates beautiful eyelashes, so simple to master thanks to Ardell Lashes.
To ring in the New Year, I donned a pair of Ardell Professional’s Glamour Eyelashes, Black Tie. The long and luscious pair was adorned with tiny black rhinestones that added shimmer and shine, which was perfect for the holiday celebration.
False eyelashes are fun, plain and simple. They take years off aging eyes, lengthen and add volume to sparse lashes and dress up any look. And with the many styles available, eyelashes from Ardell are suitable for any occasion.
With Ardell’s how-to video and step-by-step guide, a strip eyelash application becomes second nature.
- Gather your eyelash tools (strip eyelashes, glue, small scissors, tweezers).
- If you have straight lashes, curl them first or apply mascara prior to applying the eyelashes.
- Apply makeup.
- Check the fit of the strip eyelashes. Using tweezers, place the eyelashes next to the lash line, beginning at the inner corner (if the strip is too long, trim with scissors).
- Apply eyelash adhesive and let set for 30 seconds.
- Hold the eyelash strip with the tweezers along or as close as possible to the lash line. Gently press in place with your fingertips.
- Remove the eyelashes before bed and clean prior to storing in the container.
Tune in next Friday or subscribe to be notified of Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product selection of the week, similar to the glamour eyelashes from Ardell.
Have a Happy New Year! Happy Styling!
