What are Ask the Pro Stylist’s best hairstyles from the 2014 Academy Awards? Read on to find out why I have joined with the Jared Leto’s hair obsessed fans.
Last night’s Oscar celebration was far from boring, but I was eyeing every celebrity’s hairstyle, signature jewels and flowing gowns. However, one Oscar winner stood out among the rest and it is official, I have joined the masses and am obsessed with Jared Leto’s hair.
Jared Leto’s hair is so pretty with ombre highlights and waves that framed his face and accented his baby blues. The 42-year-old winner for best supporting actor in “Dallas Buyers Club” loves his mama so much he brought her with him to the Academy Awards, and as a mother of four boys, who strive to be stars, this is why I am obsessed with Jared Leto’s hair. I also think it will be a new hair trend for younger men this year.
My other selections for best hairstyles from the Academy Awards go to Olivia Wilde and her elegant bun, which proves one, can never go wrong with an up-do.
Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o’s glittery headband gives versatility to a short hairstyle. So ladies, who don’t want to go short because you are afraid of only, having one hairstyle, well take a page out of Lupita’s book, short hair can change styles as easily as the ball gown you don.
Speaking of short hair, Jennifer Lawrence’s slicked back do was elegant, trendy and edgy, and absolutely one of the best hairstyles from the Academy Awards.
An all-time favorite look of mine, aka old-Hollywood glam/Veronica Lake was seen on both Sandra Bullock who pinned her waves to the side and Oscar winner Cate Blanchett; absolutely stunning and the best of the best hairstyles from the Academy Awards.
And while not the best hairstyle from the Academy Awards, it certainly was different. The 67-year-old Liza Minnelli attended the Oscars with a streak of blue hair. You have to give it to her; she certainly knows how to make a statement.
