Best Makeup to be Used as Lip and Cheek Color

What exactly is the best makeup to be used as lip and cheek color is today’s beauty question answered. It was not easy to devote a column to beauty on the 12th anniversary of September 11, however life must go on, so today’s column is dedicated to all of the beauty in the world that surrounds us each and every day. Let us not forget that tragic day and always remember to appreciate those we love and the beauty that is part of our daily lives.

Hello beauty lovers and hair aficionados and welcome to another installment of Ask the Pro Stylist’s Wednesday’s Q&A. Today answers a reader’s question about makeup; specifically a two-in-one product that can be used as both lip and cheek color.

Hi Deirdre,

I think I read somewhere that you had recommended makeup that can be used as a lipstick and blush? I don’t have a lot of money or a lot of time in the morning to get ready and want to condense my makeup bag. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Sophie

Hi Sophie and thanks for writing in. The most recent makeup article I can recall mentions Tory Burch’s new cosmetics line, Tory Burch Beauty, in which the fashion designer has created her own lip and cheek tint. While this isn’t an inexpensive item, it serves a dual function that also condenses your makeup bag.

There are less expensive dual makeup alternatives, such as Stilla’s Yumberry Lip and Cheek Stain or Josie Maran’s Magic Marker and I suggest a trip to Sephora to sample each. I happen to really like Stilla Cosmetics, but that is my personal preference.

I saw this online today and thought it was beautiful.
