This Friday Ask the Pro Stylist reviews Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, and my hair care review is not a good one.
TGIF hair care aficionados, beauty lovers and nail fans, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. (But, honestly, what salon-working hairstylist has ever uttered TGIF?) However, this Friday’s hair care review fell flat and alas, Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner is not recommended.
I had received free samples of the Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner by Aquage and as a hair care product junkie, could not wait to sample it, especially as my hair is double-processed.
The Aquage website touts Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner as hair care products formulated for “dry and damaged hair”. My hair should fit the bill, as I color it and highlight over that. However after using the shampoo and conditioner, by hair didn’t feel moisturized, it actually felt dry and brittle.
I continued to use it despite not loving it, because I just cannot toss out anything until it is finished. After a few more applications of Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner my hair did feel softer, but then it also felt oily, weighed down and limp-not typical for my waves that could turn frizzy.
For those who follow my beauty blog and Friday’s favorite reviews, you are undoubtedly aware that I never give a bad review; I always try to find something favorable about the hair care I sample. But with the amount of outstanding professional hair care products available, Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner (even though a pro product) is not worth the purchase for the price. It is equivalent to a pharmacy store brand of hair care.
Sorry!
Happy Styling!
