Britney Spears Makes VMA Comeback With So-So Hair Extensions

Britney Spears makes her VMA comeback with hair extensions not up to the singer’s game. However, this isn’t the first time the 34-year-old mother of 2 suffered from a bad hair day on stage.

So, what’s the big deal? To the nonprofessional eye, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Britney Spears hair during her steamy VMAs performance of “Make Me…/Me, Myself & I” Ft. G-Eazy.

At first I felt a bit of sympathy for the singer’s 2016 VMAs return following Beyoncé’s stellar performance. And I wasn’t wrong, as the social media commentary was harsh.

But, there is a reason why Britney Spears has a permanent residence in Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood, she can definitely steam up the stage. Yet, one thing caught my eye, her hair extensions.

During her head-flipping floor dance, you could see the extensions. I had to rewind to get a closer look. It didn’t look natural, and hair extensions should. For the amount of money this woman makes and clearly pays for her hair, a higher standard should be mandatory. (It isn’t visible until she exposes the underside of her hair.)

This isn’t the first time Britney Spears had hair trouble on stage. A clump of her hair extensions fell out mid-performance in March of 2015. Despite the hair malfunction, the performer continued to delight her fans.

The problem appears to be the thickness of Britney’s hair, therefore not having enough for the extensions to adhere to. However, professionals adept at hair extensions should know what kind works best for Spears’ hair type to compensate for such issues.
