As I transform Ask the Pro Stylist into an online learning, subscription platform, I will continue to report beauty news and provide beauty reviews in the free blog section. However, I want to distinguish the three paid services available to you, the cosmetology student preparing for your state board, or the potential student questioning if a beauty career is in your cards. You decide if you need a career coach or cosmetology tutor.

Online Cosmetology Tutoring

I am taking my tutoring business to the next level and expanding it to the country with virtual cosmetology tutoring sessions. I am confident in its success as I had to utilize this method during the pandemic. In addition, it will offer practical sessions focusing on the state board exam where I will examine your technique, offer suggestions, and then model the proper procedures. Also, we will conduct written Q&A’s using the Milady Cosmetology textbook, have quizzes, and focus on your needs.

Once a tutoring session is scheduled, I send a questionnaire to understand and decipher your needs. Each tutoring session is $75 per hour. However, if you book 3 consecutive sessions, you will receive 10% off. In addition, I have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday special for new students until 12/31/2024. The first session is only $50.

Online Beauty Career Coaching

As an educator and cosmetology school director with a psychology background and years of experience in the beauty industry, I have tremendous insight into beauty careers. I can help you decide if this is the right path for you. One or two sessions should suffice. However, I am always here as a sounding board. Many students sat at my desk, asking to drop out once they realized cosmetology wasn’t their passion. Unfortunately, this leads to a financial burden on the student if it is a private school and they have student loans.

I must make this clear: I AM NOT A LICENSED THERAPIST OR PSYCHOLOGIST. SESSIONS ARE NOT MEANT AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR THERAPY OR MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING. I offer career advice, listen to you, and work on the skills required to be a successful cosmetologist in a career coaching capacity.

Educational Content Subscription Platform

The subscription platform is in the works, with curated cosmetology content available for download to help pass the state board exams. Subscribe to my blog for immediate updates when it is live. I hope for early January 2025. This outlet will work well for those who need a brush-up in a specific area and don’t want to spend the time for a session but can practice at their leisure.
