Charlotte McKinney Used Matrix Style Link, so Should You
Charlotte McKinney uses the new line of Matrix Style Link products, and so should you. If you couldn’t read the sarcasm, then you are the perfect target for advertisements. But in all seriousness, I love the new line, as do my male clients who have switched from hairspray to the brand’s Over Achiever 3-in-1 cream + paste + wax, and love, Love, LOVE it!
Happy Hump Day hotties, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s Wednesday Q&A. Today’s query comes from one of my male guests that use hairspray to style the top of his tousled buzz cut. But before I tout the pros of the new product I recommended, Matrix, the professional hair care brand, sent over a new celebrity endorsement by Charlotte McKinney, who recently “got ready with Matrix Artistic Educator Victor Mendoza.
The 23-year-old model recently featured in the Carl Jr.’s Super Bowl ad, has also signed on as a celebrity contestant for the 10th Anniversary Season of Dancing with the Stars, partnering with newbie, Keo. Using Matrix Style Link Volume Fixer Hairspray, along with additional products from the line, Mendoza styled Charlotte McKinney’s hair in the photos as follows.
- Use Matrix Style Link Smooth Setter on the hair to prep it.
- Then use Matrix Style Link Volume Builder on the crown of the head to give it extra body.
- Blow Dry hair using a round brush and finish off with Matrix Style Link Volume Fixer Hairspray.
So, will you look like Charlotte McKinney after using the hair care? No, but that doesn’t insinuate the line isn’t fabulous.
Back to one of my male guests: I convinced him to try the too new for the Matrix website, Style Link Over Achiever. The line hasn’t been officially launched, however I gave him my sample, which BTW, smells delish.
He came back for a trim, and loves the product’s maneuverability and hold. He said it doesn’t feel greasy or weighted, and although the hold doesn’t last for hours like spray, if he dampens his hands and runs them through the hair, the style rejuvenates itself.
Ditch the spray fellas, and opt for a fresh approach to a modern look. If you have a beauty, hair or nails question similar to today’s query, email me at DeirdreAHaggerty@gmail.com. Until then, happy styling! Oh, and if we were taking bets, my guess is, based upon Keo’s performance last season on DWTS, Charlotte McKinney won’t last past episode four.
