Comfortable Shoes, Perfect For Hairstylists

Comfortable shoes are a necessity for fashion forward hairstylists, although sometimes the words comfort and fashion don’t always mesh. This Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week does both, and is a must for those careers that require long hours on the feet.

TGIF gorgeous, and welcome to another Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product for Friday. Anyone who knows the need for comfortable shoes is aware of the beauty of the fashion accessory, especially if you work in a field wear style is everything.

As a hairstylist working long hours on the feet, comfortable shoes have always been of the utmost importance. Now that I am teaching the art of hair, it appears standing on my feet will be an integral part of my career for the rest of my life…and I love it.

On my quest for comfortable shoes I came across The Walking Company in the mall that houses the cosmetology school of which I am employed. Concerned over the cost of the footwear, I Googled “comfortable shoes” and the store had rave reviews.

I purchased the recommended pair of Nancy Neutral ABEO Biochemical Footwear from the extremely helpful sales clerk. Not only are they adorable, with a little heel I need for my height, but unbelievably comfortable.

The specs on The Walking Company’s site detail what makes the comfortable shoes work so well, but I can proclaim that after a few days of painful peds, sore toes, and aching arches, one day of wearing the Nancy Neutral actually massaged my feet back to normal. The shoes are pricey, but worth the cost.
