Why You Need Cosmetology Tutoring

I have a comical TikTok detailing five reasons a cosmetology tutor is right for you. However, what follows are serious considerations.

1. High: While the recreational use of marijuana is legal in 24 states, it is unprofessional to arrive at work or school high and reeking of pot. It is also legal to drink alcohol at a state-specific age. However, you are subject to termination if you work under the influence. Driving while intoxicated is dangerous and illegal, and it is the same for marijuana (even if it is harder to detect). Therefore, a continual eight-hour high (smoking on lunch and breaks) will make you sleepy and not help you retain the mandatory information.
2. Distracted: There are a variety of causes for your distraction, and this is not a judgment. Whatever kept you from the lesson inadvertently caused you to miss valuable information necessary to pass the cosmetology state board exams.
3. Attendance: It is state-mandated to complete the necessary hours to be eligible to take the state boards to become licensed. In addition, attendance must meet state and federal regulations for financial aid to continue. Missing class misses curriculum. Period. It is your responsibility to make up the work. However, it is not the same as the one-on-one education you did not receive as the lesson was taught.
4. Underestimated the curriculum: Unfortunately, some students think cosmetology school will be a walk in the park. Some are forced to go as an alternative to college, while others might choose it because they have a passion for beauty and believe it will be easy. It’s not. You will learn chemistry, use math, learn anatomy, color theory, history, etc. You cannot do the what without understanding the how and why in theory.
5. Thought you knew better: Too often students enter cosmetology school thinking they know better. While you might have outstanding natural ability, some habits could cause you to fail the exams. Additionally, there is a busload of information that I know you don’t know.

How To Schedule Cosmetology Tutoring

Scheduling a tutoring session is simple. Click on the calendar to the right, select your date and time and you will be redirected to a payment page, or choose “Book Online Session” in the link at the top of the site. Once you schedule a tutoring session, I will email a questionnaire to understand your needs. Each tutoring session is $75 per hour or book three consecutive sessions and receive 10% off. In addition, I have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday special for new students until 12/31/2024. The first session is only $50.
