Easy At-Home Nail Fix
Looking for an easy at-home nail fix? Well, look no further, as this Tuesday’s how-to focuses on repairing broken or brittle nails.
Happy Tuesday gorgeous, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s how-to guide of the week. Since I am back to getting my nails done, I wanted to advise on an easy at-home nail fix. I loved my nails the first go-around, and although I liked the shape better this last time, one of my nails chipped after only 3 days. I have a gel manicure over silk wraps.
Today I have 2 options for an affordable and easy at-home nail fix in-between salon visits. Or perhaps your nails have become a bit dry due to the winter months. Either way KISS has a new Fix it Up Silk Wrap Repair Kit that rescues your nails from cracks and tears without compromising the length. This at-home all-in-one kit rejuvenates fragile nails with an easy 4-step process. The precut silk wraps create a perfect foundation for long-lasting color.
KISS’ steps for an easy at-home nail fix are as follows:
- Apply silk wrap
- Follow with brush-on glue
- Dip in specially formulated dipping powder
- Gently brush off using fan brush
The Fix it Up Kit runs around $8, and could be found at Walgreens, Walmart, and Kmart.
An ancient easy at-home nail fix could also be found in your kitchen cabinet. If running to the store is not an option after a chip or broken nail occurs, reach for a teabag. Cut a piece and glue it to the area until another option becomes available. It should hold until your next nail visit or at least until you purchase the KISS kit.
Visit next week for another hair, nails or beauty guide similar to this Tuesday’s easy at-home nail fix. Until then, happy styling!
