Eye Makeup I Dislike Very Much: Think Twice Before Buying This Eyeliner

Think twice before buying this eye makeup. It isn’t what it claims to be and it’s not for aging eyes. Find out why in this week’s not so favorite beauty product of the week.

TGIF beautiful! As such it is time for another beauty review with Ask the Pro Stylist.  Sadly, this week’s eye makeup is not receiving accolades as Friday’s Favorite.

As readers are aware, I rarely give a negative beauty review. I do try to find at least one positive aspect about the product. However, this eye makeup is not for me.

Since I am in need of eyeliner, a student recommended the Felt Tip/Illustrative Eyeliner from EM Cosmetics. While it is affordable, and a bit less expensive than my fave from Kat Von D, it cannot stand up to the competition.

The “Precision Control Liquid Eyeliner” comes in a felt tip for a bold, dynamic line. In addition, EM claims it is fast drying, waterproof, smudge-proof and endures all day. However, these claims are false on oily skin in hot, humid weather. Although I will say it does dry fast upon application.

But, if you sweat, expect the eye makeup to be off in minutes. And I am not speaking of profuse perspiration either. In an hour commute from home to work, the eye makeup was all over my upper lid and under the lower. This is with the use of a primer and setting spray. Sorry, not a fan!
