Gigi Hadid, model and NYC “it” girl, could be seen everywhere during NYFW. Her bouncy hair made waves at the Maybelline & Made tip off party, and the celebrity hairstylist responsible for the look broke down how to get this supermodel style.

Welcome readers to Ask the Pro Stylist’s How-To Tuesday. As we are in the midst of New York Fashion Week, the how-to guides are pouring in. Gigi Hadid, 19-year-old model and GF of Cody Simpson kicked off NYFW at the Maybelline & Made tip off party. Jennifer Yepez using Kérastase hair care styled her look, and the guide is below.

Taking inspiration from the Jonathan Simkhai jumpsuit Gigi Hadid wore for NYFW, Yepez went for glamorous sexy waves with the help of Kérastase Mousse Volumifique and Kérastase Spray Volumifique. Apply all over and then blow dry with a large round brush.

• Use a one-inch curling iron and curl the hair toward your face from the nape up to the point where your eyes are, and then curl your hair away from your face just on the top part. Make sure to leave the ends out when curling your hair.
• Let the curls set. With a large toothcomb smooth the curls so the end result is big sexy waves.
• Tease the roots lightly and apply Kérastase Couture Styling VIP at the roots for volume.
• Finish with Kérastase Couture Styling Laque Dentelle Spray.
