Golden Globes 2015 Hair Trends: Behind the Ear Celebrity Hairstyles
The 72nd Annual Golden Globes are on, as we speak, and Ask the Pro Stylist is in hair heaven. Hands down, Jennifer Lopez won the hairstyle of the night, and I will soon have the how-to from her celebrity hairstylist Lorenzo Martin for L’Oreal Paris. But one trend seemed to stand out on the Golden Globes red carpet, waves placed strategically behind one year. Take a look at some of my faves of the night.
The pros from Farouk Systems had a few Golden Globes 2015 celebrity hairstyle red carpet predictions, as did I, and it seems we all called it. But one theme stood out at the Golden Globe Awards, hair parted to the side and placed behind one ear.
Among the celebrities that wore this similar Hollywood glam hairstyle to the 2015 Golden Globes were Amy Adams, Naomi Watts, Gina Rodriguez (Golden Globe winner for Jane the Virgin), Christine Baranski, Tina Fey (one of her looks), Jessica Chastain, Salma Hayek, Allison Williams, Julianne Moore, and Katherine Heigl.
Jennifer Lopez and Diane Kruger (The Bridge) altered the look slightly, pushing their tousled, textured waves behind both ears. But it was JLo, in her low-cut taupe and silver embellished Zuhair Murad gown with cape and sexy leg slit that won the red carpet of the Golden Globes. Jennifer Lopez had a Brigitte Bardot feel, a sexy Hollywood siren with a modern edge, and she wowed it! Applause, Applause, Applause!
