Labor Day nail art for end of summer nails is celebrated on this last Sunday of the season. Technically summer runs until September 22, with the first day of fall 2014 landing on the 23rd. However, as school begins for most of the country this week, Labor Day marks the end of the season. So let’s enjoy the holiday with fabulous nail art for the fingers and toes.

I searched Pinterest for a few nail designs that I enjoyed, especially as I have let my own nails go to pot lately. The following Labor Day nail art has inspired me to get back into the habit of tending to my nails and strengthening them. How do I strengthen my nails? I have been obsessed with blues and greens the entire summer and fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, and the following pedicure. There is no reason not to keep the color flowing until the leaves start to turn.

Do your own at-home French manicure with Band-Aids thanks to the tip from YourHairBeauty.com. Because the bandage has a slight curve when applied, it makes it easier to draw a perfect white line, or any color for your Labor Day nail art.
Finally the pink, white and gold floral design courtesy of Life in Lacquer is a nostalgic way to remember the beautiful colors of spring and summer before the autumn hues take over our wardrobe.
