Laser Hair Removal: Is Laser Hair Removal Right For You?

Is laser hair removal right for you? After embarking on a new laser hair removal experience, my answer is yes. You must try it! However, learn the dos and don’ts of finding the right fit for you.TGIF gorgeous.  As such, it is time for another of  Ask the Pro Stylist’s Friday Favorite. This week I tout the benefits of laser hair removal.

You hear laser hair removal commercials daily on local radio. Undoubtedly, you know someone with gorgeous underarms or a spotless bikini area. Most likely this is due to a succession of treatments and maintenance.

Years of shaving creates irritation, unsightly bumps and ingrown hairs. I had enough. At first I bought a Groupon for a local laser hair removal spa. However, as I searched directions, terrible reviews appeared, scaring me off.

Then during a conversation with one of my cosmetology students, I learned she is also a licensed esthetician, and certified medical technician. And she does laser hair removal!!

Braving up, I scheduled an appointment for my bikini and underarm area. Results are evident after one session. However, a series of sessions is Diana’s recommendation. Coarser hair requires more work. Following the series of 6, buy 5 and the 6th is free, yearly or biyearly maintenance commences. As a result, a beautiful, hairless body is evident.

Laser hair removal by Diana is considerably less expensive than the “big” name centers you hear on the radio. It also saves money from waxing or shaving in the long run. Venus razors are expensive and a package of waxing from popular places costs more. In addition, your hair does not grow back with laser hair removal. The process damages the hair follicle, preventing regrowth. And yes, it is safe!

Diana is in Miller Place, NY. To make an appointment for your laser hair removal, call her at 516-987-2505. For more of my beauty favorites, visit next Friday. Until then, happy styling!
