Have lengthy lashes with this Friday’s favorite mascara. As readers are aware, I am obsessed with mascara. So when this little dandy makeup wand landed in my hands, I was eager to test it and fell in love, immediately.

TGIF beauties, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. Each Friday I suggest a hair, nails or beauty product that I love for a variety of reasons.

Those familiar with this beauty blog understand my obsession with mascara, especially ones that create full, lengthy lashes. As we age, we lose eyelashes, and wearing mascara, even if it’s the only makeup you have on, takes off a few years.

I was recently at a pamper party, and the young nail technician that was giving me a pedicure told me she loved my lengthy lashes. At 46, that’s a compliment, a huge one that I graciously accepted, because they weren’t false, nor did I have on fibers. I simply wore this Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week.

I have to be honest; when I first opened the mascara I was disappointed. I didn’t think the small wand would create the fullness and lengthy lashes I adore. (I have long lashes. They are just very light.) But, then I sampled the makeup and was thrilled. Below is my beauty review on Examiner.com.

Celebrity makeup artist Susan Posnick has added another must-buy item to her cosmetic brand. Launching November 3, the Susan Posnick COLORCOATED Mascara is all it claims to be to have lengthy lashes. Having recently sampled the makeup, Ask the Pro Stylist has developed three reasons why consumers should by the new mascara.

Smudge Proof: Yes, the makeup really is smudge proof, tested on oily skin that always has mascara smudges on the top and lower lid. Nor does Susan Posnick’s COLORCOATED Mascara clump or flake, even with multiple coats. Bonus: The mascara is water resistant, but easily removable.

Easy Application: As many brands expand mascara brushes, Susan Posnick has decreased the size of its unique shaped, double twisted wand. The brush is shorter and thinner, allowing for precision application with greater control. Bonus: The mascara isn’t wet that it gets everywhere, except the eyelashes.

Voluminous Lengthy Lashes: In a recent article article Maybelline’s Great Lash was listed a favorite among “Glamour” readers because of how nicely it layers. This was the same reaction to Susan Posnick’s COLORCOATED Mascara. The lashes lengthen and thicken using natural iron oxides for rich black color. Bonus: A combination of Rice Bran, Carnauba and Candelilla waxes help to provide and maintain the length and curl of the lashes as they are conditioned, moisturized and strengthened.

Susan Posnick’s COLORCOATED Mascara is paraben and gluten free. The technology behind the makeup fortifies the lashes with essential extracts and peptides, which promotes lash growth and reduces eyelash loss.
