Lip balm is my new beauty obsession and is a must-have essential for every makeup bag this summer. What’s my favorite lip balm? The new Colour Riche Glossy Balm Crayon from L’Oréal Paris.
TGIF said no hairstylist ever, except this one who works from home and could choose not to take clients on the weekend. Welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product selection of the week. This Friday’s beauty review is my newest summer makeup obsession, Colour Riche Glossy Balm Crayon from L’Oréal Paris.
I hate to wear makeup in the summer. Since I was a kid, the only summer makeup I’d every wear was lipstick and mascara. Now that I am older, I need to even skin tone, but still will only wear lipstick and mascara in the warmer months with a light foundation, especially once I have a little color (with sunblock of course).
I love light, glossy shades with bronzed skin, ones that condition and soften the lips, which tend to dry out in the summer. I recently came across this Friday’s favorite, Colour Riche Glossy Balm Crayon in Ginger Candy, and the lip balm is my new summer obsession. It is a must-have beauty item for every makeup bag, in a shade that obviously suits your complexion.
The lip balm crayon comes in 8 flirty colors: Lovely Mocha, Ginger Candy, Innocent Coral, My Babydoll, Pink Me Up, Baby Berry, Vintage Rose, and Petite Plum, all for around $8 each. According to L’Oréal Paris the lip balm is “an ultra-light, ultra-glossy finish for the woman looking for a new twist on a traditional balm to punctuate her personal style.” It is ideal alone for daytime wear or to enhance an evening look over a rich matte color.
