Man Bun Alternative For Man Bun Baldness
The man bun! What else needs to be said of this trendy, and sometimes (oftentimes) unattractive men’s hairstyle? If you fear man bun baldness after recent reports surfaced suggesting your knob will cause you to lose hair, then a new hairpiece for men is an option to keep you looking like the hipster you think you are.
Whoop, whoop, happy Hump Day hotties, and welcome to Wednesday’s Q&A with Ask the Pro Stylist. This week we attack the man bun, in more ways than one. When the man bun baldness report came to light, a friend asked if it was true, and what could he do, other than STOP wearing his hair in a topknot, to prevent balding. Let’s face it, not every man bun man looks like Jared Leto.
As many man bun lovers are aware, the latest trend in men’s hairstyles came under fire as having a direct correlation to hair loss. Sabra Sullivan, a Jackson, Mississippi dermatologist, told Science.Mic the consistent pulling of hair into tight buns causes acute baldness around the forehead and temples called Traction Alopecia.
They’re putting traction on the hair follicles that the hair is not really meant to take, which could lead to follicle death plus permanent scarring.
Never fear man bun wearers because Groupon has an alternative that won’t cause baldness. The Clip In Man Bun is also ideal for those with shorter hair that want to experience the fad; think clip in bangs or ponytails for men, or just think NO, don’t do it.
The Clip In Man Bun surfaced earlier this month to guffaws, but in all seriousness, if you must look like a Sumo wrestler and want to prevent man bun baldness, by all means, invest in the hairpiece. At least it won’t break the bank.
