Happy How-To Tuesday beautiful. Since it is time for another hair tutorial from Ask the Pro Stylist, this week shares an inspiring Modern Brides Collection. Australian Hairstyling Icon Lorna Evans brings classic finger waves with a contemporary feel.

Hairstylist Lorna Evans has created another inspirational “Modern Brides” collection. Transforming classic finger waves with stitching with White Sands Haircare’s Styling Sprays is in the upcoming tutorial. In addition, beautiful photos reveal each step-by-step.

  1. To begin, blow dry White Sands Liquid Texture Firm Hold Thermal Styling Spray into the hair. As a result it provides incredible memory for long-lasting designs. In addition, it fights against humidity and is thermal intelligent. This means more heat more shine.

  2. Create a side part and triangle the section to the side.
  3. Split the sections into two. Using a Lorna Evans hot styling wand, wave the section nearest the part forward, and the second section in a backwards motion.

  4. Next, brick wind the rest of the remaining hair.
  5. Using a Lorna Evans Curved Comb, start to mold into waves. As a result, you will notice the comb will do most of the work for you due to its shape.
  6. Place finger waving clips on your waves, then leave to set.
  7. Clip in your Hair Extensions that are preset on your curling wand.
  8. Gently brush out the hair.
  9. While the front is setting in the clamps, use a large styling needle (available in our Lorna Evans styling kit styling kit) to wrap and fold the hair into a soft sexy shape.
  10. Using a large bodkin needle and thread, stitch the hair into place.  Lorna prefers to use a blanket stitch.
  11. Gently pull the hair out to create a soft finish. In addition, you will need to go in with a second lot of stitching to secure.
  12. Remove the finger waving clips and comb out the front section. Using long U pins, hold the look into place.
  13. Finally, move and soften the hair until you achieve the look you desire.
