My No-Chip Polish Chipped: Beauty Review Vinylux
My no-chip polish chipped! Vinylux promises, “week-long wear” but promises are broken, as was my manicure in one day. Yikes!
TGIF gorgeous, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s Favorite beauty product of the week. Alas, this beauty review won’t be positive, and the no-chip polish I recently used is most certainly not recommended.
In a recent trek into a local, professional beauty supply, I searched for a no-chip polish. The clerk recommended CND Vinylux Weekly Polish, as opposed to the other brand I was considering. She said the alternative went on thin, was pricier, and needed a base coat, therefore increasing my cost. I thanked her for her candor and purchased #121 Hot Pop Pink.
I was excited to polish my nails, and expected one to chip sooner as I had an imperfection that dried as such. It did, but I was surprised to see two other nails chipping the next day as well, and by day 3 all of my nails had lost some of the color after using the no-chip polish, which included following the directions.
I hate to give bad beauty reviews, but if I am not honest, then my word is as good as mud. I will continue to use my no-chip polish. I love the color, and since I purchased it in a professional beauty supply, my cost was comparable to other regular nail polishes and lacquers.
Tune in next Friday to learn about a bronzer I fell in love with. And if you have a different opinion on the Vinylux no-chip polish, feel free to comment or shoot me an email at DeirdreAHaggerty@gmail.com Until then, happy styling.
