Natural Hair How-To: Get the Ralph Lauren Runway Look For The Holidays

Opt for easy with this week’s natural hair how-to for the holidays. Get the Ralph Lauren look straight from the runway for a simple, feminine style.

Happy Tuesday gorgeous! As such, it is time for another of Ask the Pro Stylist’s weekly beauty tutorial. Today’s offers a natural hair how-to from Redken Global Creative Director Guido at Ralph Lauren’s SS 2017 Show.

Capitalizing on natural beauty, Guido went for natural texture. According to the Redken stylist, all of the models have “gorgeous hair, so just giving it that shampooed texture with some Diamond Oil really enhances the luxury idea of beauty.”

For Guido’s natural hair how-to, follow the simple directions below.

1. To begin, wash hair with All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner.
2. Next, use fingers to continuously comb through damp hair until it dries fully without the use of a blow dryer.
3. Finally, add Diamond Oil Glow Dry sparingly to tame frizz, while letting hair’s natural texture remain true.

Guido’s tutorial is ideal for busy women on the go. However, as he mentions above, the models all have gorgeous hair. While your hair might have some challenges, or lack a wave, simply use a large barrel curling iron to add a bend. Follow these tips for my natural hair how-to below.

1. First, take large sections, 1-2”.
2. In addition, curl from the mid-shaft and leave out an inch of the ends. As a result, the curl will appear more natural.
