Olaplex on Long Island, Or Other Options
Finding Olaplex on Long Island is not an easy feat for one reader apparently. What options do Ask the Pro Stylist have for this service guest who wants lighter highlights?
Whoop, whoop, it’s Hump Day, and time for another Q&A with Ask the Pro Stylist. This Wednesday’s question comes from Dawn who wants to know where to find Olaplex on Long Island.
Dear Deirdre:
I came across an article that had a link to your email while searching for salons that offer Olaplex on L.I. Would you happen to have a recommendation of a salon on Long Island that uses this product and may be a better choice for someone who is having trouble getting their hair lifted light enough when getting highlights? I keep ending up with yellowish gold highlights and I know from previous experiences that my hair can go lighter. Looking for other options. Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thank you,
Dawn Gustavson
Hi Dawn, thanks for writing in. To find Olaplex on Long Island simply enter your zip code on the site’s salon locator tab. I personally don’t know of any salon that I could recommend, however as it has become increasingly popular, I am sure it could be found in a variety of places.
Just as an FYI, Olaplex doesn’t boost the lift; it protects the hair during the process. I have used and love Continuum, which does basically the same thing without increasing the volume of developer. Again, check on the website for salons that offer this service, or contact any Royal Beauty Supply for a recommendation. Royal Beauty only sells to licensed professionals, but would be happy to suggest a salon for you.
I hope this helps you in your search for Olaplex on Long Island. If you have a question for me similar to Dawn’s, please email me at DeirdreAHaggerty@gmail.com. Until then, happy styling!
