OPI Nail Polish Review: Nail Hues That Won’t Give You the Blues

OPI nail polish review: No surprises here, this Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week are two colors from OPI; nail hues that won’t give you the blues. Read on to discover why Keeping Suzi at Bay and No Room for Blues are awesome in my OPI nail polish review.

TGIF Friday beauties and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week, available at Loxa Beauty, an ecommerce site exclusively for salon professionals. This isn’t the first time I’ve used, sampled or written about OPI. I adore the various themes the brand develops to keep customers intrigued. And it’s no secret to readers of this column that I have been obsessed with blue and green nail polish this summer. But four things stood out to me that compelled me to pen this OPI nail polish review.

To begin the colors worked well together to create an accent nail for blue nail polish lovers. Sometimes blues can be too thick or too thin and streak, but these colors polished nicely and evenly. I used the darker blue, Keeping Suzi at Bay on my toes also, and my husband kept saying how much he loved the shade. Then it hit me, it is the color of the New York Yankees; all I needed were white stripes. Obviously he is a diehard Yankee fan. And lastly, I feel as if OPI changed its formula, because my nail polish didn’t chip or peel in 5 days, which is extremely unusual for me as my hands are always in water.

Keeping Suzi at Bay

Keeping Suzi at Bay is one of the polishes from San Francisco by OPI that brings street chic style with West Coast flair to nails and toes. Paired with No Room for the Blues, and summer and fall colors mesh perfectly for the transitional period of seasons.

Tune in next Friday to discover what my favorite beauty product of the week will be. It isn’t an OPI nail polish review, but a dry shampoo that I am mad about. Until then, happy styling!
