It’s Hump Day with Ask the Pro Stylist
It’s Hump Day! As today is Wednesday, it is time for another Q&A with Ask the Pro Stylist. I have not written a question and answer in a while. As a result, my inbox has grown rather large. However, many queries have been regarding nails. To be honest, I have stopped replying because I have given all the answers on the topic I can. Until today’s recommendation for organic gel nails.
Organic Gel Nails Q&A
Today’s question, or rather recommendation comes from Marcia, a reader with acrylate allergies.
Hi Deirdre,
I came across your website while I was trying to find an alternative to nail products that contain acrylates, which is pretty much all of them. As a result, I thought I was going to have to give it up altogether, even nail polish.
I stumbled across a company called Angel Love Nails that has saved me! I know how much trouble I had trying to find a product I could use, so thought I’d share this with you. There should be others out there having the same issue as I did. Therefore, I thought you could be a vehicle to reach them.
It’s been a blessing for me. I know that might sound kind of stupid but I’ve been getting my nails done for almost 40 years. So, after getting allergy tests done to confirm my problem, I thought I had no choice but to stop. Luckily that is no longer the case for me! If you can help anyone else like me, that would be great.
Thank you,
Marcia
Angel Love Nail Products
The organic gel nails brand Marcia is referring to is Angel Love Nail Products. I have not used it. As a result, I cannot endorse it. This is a reader recommendation. The company uses an organic protein bonding system.
Healthy Nails
Buyer beware. Please note that while one person might not be allergic to this type of bond, it doesn’t mean it is right for you. The biggest problem with any artificial nail product is the adhering and removal system. This is where most nail damage occurs. I am an advocate of natural, healthy nails. Therefore, use at your own risk.
Happy Styling!
