Get the Oscar beauty breakdown for Julianne Moore’s red carpet look from this past Sunday’s airing of the 88th annual Academy Awards. Elaine Offers for L’Oreal Paris has the how-to, which is perfect for the over 40 hotties.
Happy Tuesday beautiful, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s how-to guide of the week. Still abuzz from the Academy Awards, this Tuesday we have the Oscar beauty breakdown for Julianne Moore.
The 55-year-old actress wore a custom Chanel, which provided the inspiration for the L’Oréal Paris makeup artist. “The dress is a fantastic, architectural halter with lace and dark jewel detailing,” said Elaine, “I’ve never seen anything like it so I am excited with how the makeup look complements it.” Offers Oscar beauty breakdown is as follows.
- Elaine started by prepping skin with Revitalift Daily Volumizing Moisturizer and Revitalift Miracle Blur.
- Over top foundation, she blended Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer as a spot-concealer, which left a fresh finish in its wake.
- For warm contour, subtle shape and definition, Elaine opted for Infallible Pro Contour Palette all over the face.
- Before applying Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Pink to cheeks, Elaine worked True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Golden onto the cheekbones and bridge of nose for “lit from within” results.
- Elaine turned to Colour Riche Eye Shadow in Paris Beach to neutralize and highlight the browbone. On lids, she blended a combination of shade Quartz Fume and Infallible 24H Eye Shadow in Eternal Black, pressing both in with a dampened brush and resulting in a shine that played into Julianne’s dress.
- Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter was used in waterlines to sharpen up natural eye shape, and lashlines were accented with brown liner.
- Elaine curled lashes, applied a few coats of primer and topped off with Voluminous Superstar Mascara.
- After using a lip stain for shape, Elaine topped off with Colour Riche Collection Exclusive Lipstick in Jennifer’s Nude for neutral, nude coverage.
