Pamela Anderson makes New York appearance looking a bit disheveled

Pamela Anderson made an appearance at the International Beauty Show in New York City last week promoting a new hair care line, however the Playmate looked a bit disheveled.

Please make no mistake, this isn’t a Pamela Anderson bashing, nor do I want to be the star’s personal stylist. For myself, I feel the 45-year-old mother looks amazing, however, an appearance at THE hair show, surrounded by professionals who critique every minute detail, required her hairstylist to be a little more particular in the coiffing of Pam’s up-do.

Pamela Anderson, along with Dita Von Teese are the latest celebrity spokeswomen for Obliphica, a new hair care line, which made a huge, no pun intended, impression at the International Beauty Show in New York last week.

When meeting with the higher ups at the Obliphica booth, press ID was photographed prior to receiving a press kit and small samples of the hair care line’s hair serum. Questions were asked if Pamela Anderson would arrive on time, etc., to maintain a proper spot for optimal photos. However, when she did appear, slightly late, she was positioned in a way that her back was to me. Awesome! So, my vantage point of her entire look was slightly askew.

What I could tell, that is not clear in the attached photograph, was her incredible curves were overshadowed by panty lines, so much so that it was the topic of conversation amongst the stylists that surrounded me.

But, what drove my perfectionist-self batty was the large piece of flyaway hair that poked around on the back of Anderson’s up-do. Whoever styled the “Baywatch” star’s hair for IBS New York must have forgotten that thousands of hairstylists would be critiquing her hairdo?

Pamela Anderson’s up-do is a very trending look right now. I call it the structured mess. It’s a tousled look that is thrown up, or at least appears that way, however, it isn’t a five-minute hairstyle, and every “misplace” is supposed to be there. Unfortunately, Pamela’s celebrity hairstyle was falling to pieces as she made her press appearance at the Obliphica booth.

With that said, panty lines and messy hair couldn’t take away from the fact that Pamela Anderson was indeed one of the most beautiful women to appear at the International Beauty Show in New York City.
