How-To Remove Purple Hair Color in Seconds
How-to remove purple hair color in seconds is this Tuesday’s beauty guide of the week from Ask the Pro Stylist. If a fashion color has become more permanent than semi-permanent and it is time to go, then look no further as the answer is about 3 minutes away.
Happy Tuesday beautiful, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s beauty guide of the week; how-to remove purple hair color in seconds. A friend and coworker provided me with a useful hair color tip to try in my next class, we did, and it was amazing!
Last week I taught hair color removal to the full-time creative future professionals. My colleague Danielle had seen a tip in a Paul Mitchell group, and we did a strand test on Julia to test out the formulation.
Using Paul Mitchell the Color XG Clear Booster and 30-volume crème developer (1-1.5), the purple hair color was removed in seconds. The integrity of the hair was intact, so with the help of another future professional, we quickly applied the mixture, and by the time the last strand was completed, the purple hair color was gone.
Julia’s hair was then washed and conditioned with Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde products and then blown dry as seen in the how-to remove purple hair color video below. I cut her hair the next day and the adorable result is attached above. She had planned on adding another fashion color, but fell in love with the blonde/rooty look. ***In our haste we didn’t follow proper sectioning protocol!***
Please note: this how-to remove purple hair color in seconds guide is for professional use only. The Paul Mitchell products are only sold to licensed cosmetologists or creative future professionals with a note from their school. If you have a fashion color you’d like to see removed, please visit a salon.
Come back next week for another beauty guide similar to this week’s how-to remove purple hair color tutorial. Until then, happy styling!
