Summer braids have never been as popular, especially the effortless looking boho-chic braid. Today’s how-to is a quick summer braid tutorial using the invisibobble, perfect for vacations, camping, a day at the beach, or a romantic evening at night.

Happy Tuesday hottie, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s How-to Hairstyle Guide of the week. I hope you had an enjoyable, reflective and safe Memorial Day weekend. This week, we once again turn our attention to hairstyles for the warmer weather, specifically summer braids.

Summer Braids using the Invisibobble

Summer braids are the perfect hairstyle to transition from a day at the beach to a night out, or wear when camping and vacationing to look boho-chic. The following step-by-step guide as seen in BehindtheChair.com is presented by invisibobble, using two of the unique hair tools, which avoid pins and elastic bands.

1. Section the front hair away.
2. Braid the front section and secure with an invisibobble.
3. Secure the remaining hair into the ponytail on the same side.
4. Wrap braid around the invisibobble, looping through to secure.
5. Braid the remaining hair into 2 sections, securing with an invisibobble.
6. One by one, wrap and secure the braids into a bun shape.
