Summer Waves Hair How-to: Get Sabrina Carpenter’s Gorgeous Hair
This Tuesday’s summer waves hair how-to offers hot hair tips from celebrity hairstylist Laurie Heaps. As a result, the beauty guide arrived from the folks at White Sands for readers of Ask the Pro Stylist.
Happy Tuesday gorgeous and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s beauty guide of the week. Today’s summer waves hair how-to comes from _HairbyLaurie, using one of my favorite hair brands White Sands.
Most know singer/actress Sabrina Carpenter from The Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World. I love how different stylists achieve similar looks with different techniques and products. Since I adore this look, I think it is simple to follow for all. Follow the hair step-by-step guide below to achieve the 17-year-old’s effortless summer waves from Lauire Heaps.
- To begin, rough dry the hair for volume at the root.
- Next, divide the hair into 4 sections.
- Take a 1-1/2 inch piece of hair in a horizontal section and then spray with White Sands Liquid Texture Medium Thermal Spray.
- Then, straighten a few inches of the hair in a bending motion with a flat iron. Additionally, Heaps uses the T3 Micro Flat.
- To continue, straighten the next few inches of hair. Bend the flat iron in the opposite direction, continuing this pattern all the way down the hair.
- Go over the hair with the flat iron, tapping gently on areas that have too much wave. According to Laurie, “Less is more!”
- To finish, spray a light mist of Redken Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray.
In conclusion, it should be known, all products in today’s summer waves hair tutorial have been sampled by Ask the Pro Stylist. However, the T3 Micro Flat has not. Because this is a softer look, I recommend the New CHI Onyx Euro Shine 1” Ceramic Hair Styler for smooth hair styling. When creating waves in the humid weather you do not want frizz. The iron provides a shinier, smoother look. In addition you will have volume with control.
