Trump’s Hair, a Projection of His Character: A Hot Mess
Is Trump’s hair a projection of his character, a hot mess? While I am quite vocal about the GOP presidential nominee’s comb over, it seems immature to compare the hair with the person. However, after reading his tweets regarding Bette Midler’s appearance, I have a different opinion. This man, his hair, and his demeanor are today’s Hair Police hot topic.
Happy Monday gorgeous and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s Hair Police rant of the week! Today we discuss Trump’s hair.
With the amount of money Donald Trump has, it amazes me he doesn’t have a better hairstyle/stylist. Who is telling this man he looks good? The color is orange, plain and simple and the comb-over is as obvious as his lack of eloquence. So, what’s the big deal? Well, in a perfect world, Trump’s hair is insignificant. I rant about it because it makes me laugh. However, after reading his Tweet about Bette Midler’s appearance in 2012, I feel Trump’s hair is important to his character.
Bette Midler criticized Donald Trump’s hair. In typical fashion, he struck back harder, with the retaliation of a 5-year-old that just had his feelings hurt. He went low, criticizing her looks and “her ugly face and body.” She says he has bad hair; he attacks her face and body. It’s this type of behavior that is atypical of a dignitary. It is these comments and many similar narratives that spew hate, arrogance, and ignorance, typical of a megalomaniac, not the leader of the free world.
This is not a difficult concept to comprehend. To be presidential means having a bearing or demeanor befitting a president, both dignified and confident. Additionally, the term describes a strong leader, “presidential in his performance.” Trump is overconfident and lacks dignity.
As a human being I would never vote for a man that tells reporters to “be quiet,” pokes fun at those with disabilities, has been married 3 times, cheated on wife #2 then criticizes the Clintons for infidelity, and judges others by their appearance. While Trump’s hair is insignificant to the outcome of the 2016 presidential race, to me it is just another way this man displays poor judgment.
