Whiten teeth with Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week
Whiten teeth with Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week, and it isn’t the one I recently sampled. So, yes, there will be a negative beauty review of a teeth-whitening system that is definitely not recommended.
TGIF gorgeous, and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. But this beauty review from a gift bag I recently received, that claims to whiten teeth safe and effectively, is not all it is cracked up to be.
Unfortunately PR reps feel if beauty writers sample a product, then it should automatically deserve a positive review. This then leads to the public not necessarily believing everything they read. While I try to be as optimistic as possible, if it isn’t good at all, I have to be honest.
I received a delightful goody bag at a beauty event, and included among the treasure trove of skincare was a kit to whiten teeth. As I needed one for a reality TV show that I will soon be filming, I was thrilled not to run out and purchase my tried-and-true favorite.
I opened the box of beconfiDent Enamel Safe Teeth Whitening system, a “peroxide-free bleaching” tool, and was perplexed by the contents. Like others, it claims whiter teeth in 7 days, sometimes earlier, depending upon desired results. But, it contained 3 plastic inserts that needed to be sized to your mouth through boiling water, which mimics the professional way to whiten teeth.
A few failed attempts later, not only do the trays not fit properly, but they also made me gag, a lot. However most importantly, following 3 days of use, I have seen no change, whereas my favorite Crest 3D White Strips will whiten teeth in that amount of time, and Crest’s products are cheaper.
Maybe you will have better results in an attempt to whiten teeth, but the convenience of the disposal strip, plus the cost, plus the prep work, and the brighter results lead me to say, “Don’t waste your money!”

Visit me next week for another hair, nails or beauty review that most likely won’t whiten teeth, but will keep you confident which, at the end of the day is the secret to looking beautiful.
